Kolber is a native of Pennsylvania and received a graduate education from the University of Miami. Kolber started her career in New York City as a CBS Sports video coordinator. When she was working for WTVJ-TV, Miami, she received the Sports Emmy. She also served as a reporter for WPLG-TV Miami, and WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. She joined ESPN in 1993 and became one of the first anchors on ESPN2 when it was first established. She worked at ESPN2 for the ensuing three years before leaving it for Fox Sports. After that, she was back at ESPN which is where she now hosts the show 'Monday Night Countdown.'
