Colson Kelly or Machine Gun Kelly is best recognized for his unique style of rap he employs. Baker was originally born in Houston Texas, U.S. on April 22nd 1990 to parents who were of English Scottish German descent. Both of his parents were missionaries. during his initial years they traveled extensively with them. His father James Colson Baker struggled with depression and joblessness while the mother Sonia Alane left them when the age of nine. Following that Baker along with his father moved to Denver which was where they resided together with his father's aunt. Others in the community bullied Baker due to his indigence. In the sixth grade, Baker started to take rap music as a form of entertainment. Colson Kelly was born Machine Gun Kelly on April 22, 1989 in Texas. The music he creates blends modern hip-hop and alternative, as well as rock. Baker had released four mixtapes in 2007 through the year 2010 prior to signing with Bad Boy Records.
